Adai

I am not fond of Adai but recently came across a recipe which gives crispy adai which i loved it.Here is the recipe.


  • Ingredients:

  • Idly batter – 1/2 cup
  • Toor dal – 1/4 cup
  • Channa Dhal – 1/4 cup
  • Red chillies- 7 nos 
  • Ginger – A small piece
  • Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt-Required amout
  • Oil – to cook.

Method:

1.Soak the toor dhal and channa dhal for 3 to 4 hours.
2.Grind them with red chillies,ginger,asafoetida,salt.
3.Add half cup of idli batter and required amount of water so that it comes in the consistency of idli batter.
4.You can add onions,curry leaves and coconut with it if you prefer tastier adai.
