Sambhar

Ingredients:

1.Toor Dhal
2.Turmeric Powder
3.Oil
4.Onions
5.Tomatoes
6.Vegetables like mango,drumstick
7.Sambhar Powder
8.Tamarind Paste
9.oil
10.Urad Dhal
11.Red Chillies
12.Curry Leaves
13.Asafoetida

Method:


1.In 1/4 cup of toor dhal,add turmeric powder and oil and cook in cooker for 3 whistles.
2.In a pan add oil,mustard,urad dhal,curry leaves,asafoetida.
3.Add onions and fry till golden brown,tomatoes,vegetables and the cooked toor dhal.
4.Add Sambhar Powder(2 spoons) to it.
5.After vegetables boil,add tamarind paste.
6.Dont allow sambhar to boil for a longer time after adding tamarind paste.
